Zentangle Drawing Unit
Stage 1: Research
Students will research cultures from around the world that use mark making techniques common to those used when creating Zentangles.
Students will spend TWO DAYS researching 5 different cultures that use similar zentangle patterns and mark making in their artwork. Student will then incorporate their favorite cultures researched as inspire your zentangles.
At the end of the project, student will explain the cultural history behind the artwork researched as well as how and why they used it as inspiration for your personal zentangles.
